England Women host South Africa in a test match for the first time in nearly 20 years in June before wrapping up a busy domestic summer with limited series against India.

The Proteas will tour England from June to July, competing in a multi-format series that will kick off with a one-off Test match – South Africa’s first four-day match since meeting India in 2014.

The last time England and South Africa met in a Test was in 2003, when they played two games, at Shenley and Taunton, with the hosts winning the series 1-0.

“We are delighted to announce a compelling summer of international women’s cricket against two of the world’s best teams, in what is a banner year for the women’s game,” said Women’s Cricket General Manager Clare Connor.
