Anadolu Efes hosted Maccabi in the last game of 2022 in EuroLeague. The Navy-Whites lost 80-72 to the Israeli representative, and got their 3rd defeat in their last 5th match. Efes has 8 wins and 8 losses in 16 matches.
Coach Ergin Ataman: “During the first three quarters, we reflected our game on the field in the best way possible, so we were under our control. In the last quarter, when our opponent Maccabi started to press full-court with his 4 short players, our balance fell apart. We had incredible turnovers. “The game played in the last quarter was not like a EuroLeague game, we made the kind of mistakes that junior teams can make,” he said.
