MAnu García, a 22-year-old player and an under-21 international, will play in LaLiga Santander at Alavés, after the Vitorian team has obtained the loan from Sporting de Gijón.

The midfielder already knows the club, since he was previously on loan, in the 2016-2017 season, by Manchester City, although he did not play any games in the First Division and was only called up once.

The player, despite his youth, has been international with the Under-21 team and has experience both in La Liga and abroad, having been in the ranks of NAC Breda or French Toulouse. Last year he was an important piece in Sporting de Gijón (club to which he belongs), having played 35 games, 34 as a starter (2891 minutes in total) and with which he got a goal.

Fourth reinforcement

Javi Calleja’s team thus adds its fourth incorporation for the new season, after those of Toni Moya (Atlético de Madrid), Taichi Hara (NK Istra) and Carlos Isaac (Albacete)

It should be remembered that the former captain of the team, Manu García, 35 years old and after nine years at the club, left the Vitoria team after ending his contract and not being renewed. The new addition has the same name but of different demarcation and weight in the dressing room.
