Galatasaray Nef head coach Andreas Pistiolis: “We couldn’t play smart”

Galatasaray Nef lost 76-73 away to AYOS Konyaspor in the 13th week of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League and suffered its 6th defeat of the season. Galatasaray Nef Head Coach Andreas Pistiolis made an evaluation after the Ayos Konyaspor match.

Coach Andreas Pistiolis said: “It was a bad game for us. We didn’t play smart. We were unable to maintain the score, losing our concentration. Our opponent fought harder than we did, reflecting this on the score and rebounds and prevailed. We will continue to work to be better.” he said.

Dusan Ristic, the new transfer in Galatasaray, was not included in the squad of the match. Tyrus McGee came to the fore with 23 points in the yellow-reds. Angelo Caloiaro finished the game with 12 points, while Dylan Ennis added 8 points. Sadik Emir scored roughly 7 points. Dee Bost recorded 6 points and 6 assists.
