Iago Aspas and Santi Mina account for 70 percent of Celta’s goals. Both forwards have not stopped seeing the door during all of 2021. Between them they added 32 points for the whole of Coudet.
At Iago Aspas case, this is not news. It has been a constant year after year. In the last 12 months he scored 13 goals. Five of them from January to May, in the last championship, and eight from August to December, in the present. In the Cup he did not play any match.
However, for the first time, Santi Mina was the team’s top scorer in a calendar year. The Vigo striker scored 19 goals, 16 in the League and 3 in the Cup. The garters are distributed between 10 marked from January to May and 6 in what has been disputed this season. In the Cup he scored one goal last January and two in the two rounds this season.
To continue in this numerical progression, Santi Mina could match the 12 goals he scored in the last league this season and Iago Aspas would surpass the 14 in the last championship.
Both footballers are keys to Coudet and very titularísimos. They have finished the year scoring, scoring two of the three goals of the victory last Friday, in Balaídos against Espanyol, and that closed a year in which both have continued to see the opposite frame.
