The Jacksonville Jaguars have pledged to play a home game at Wembley Stadium for the next three years.
The Jaguars will now return to Wembley every season until 2024 after a vote was taken at the NFL’s annual meeting in Palm Beach, Florida.
The franchise will be under new management following the appointment of Doug Pederson as head coach, while UK fans will once again see 2021 overall No. 1 quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Shahid Khan, owner of the Jaguars and championship leader Fulham, said of the announcement: “It’s very gratifying to announce that the Jacksonville Jaguars will play one home game per season at Wembley for three more seasons.
“It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years since our last game at Wembley. But this autumn everything will change and we look forward to returning to our London home.
“We have already built a large fan base in the UK and I look forward to growing it as we reaffirm our commitment to playing one home game per season in the UK for the long term, as was always the goal when we first played in 2013. “
In February, the NFL announced that the Green Bay Packers would play in an International Series game for the first time in 2022, becoming the 32nd franchise to play in London.
