This Monday, December 13, finally, Lainez has completed the procedures with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and he has obtained nationality, which is why he automatically ceases to occupy an extra-community position in the Verdiblanca squad. An interesting move for the club in view of the next transfer windows, both in January and next summer.
After the departure of Emerson last summer, who had also started the procedures to apply for Spanish nationality at the beginning of the year, Diego He was the only player without a community passport in the Betic squad (he does not have one either Paul, but being Ivorian, he does not occupy one of these places by the Cotonou treaty), so the Betis from now on it has the three vacant vacancies.
