In the statement made on the official website of the EuroLeague, it was announced that the participation of Russian teams, CSKA Moscow, UNICS Kazan and Zenit St Petersburg, in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and Lokomotiv Kuban in the EuroCup were suspended.

In the statement, it was also stated that if there is no development in the events, the matches of the Russian teams will be deemed not played at the end of the season.

The EuroLeague statement is as follows:

1. Russian teams’ participation in both Turkish Airlines EuroLeague (CSKA Moscow, UNICS Kazan, Zenit St Petersburg) and 7DAYS EuroCup (Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar) has been suspended.

2. Euroleague will constantly monitor the evolution of the situation. If the situation does not develop favorably, all regular season matches against Russian teams will be canceled in order to structure the ranking of the leagues.
