Before the 2022 Final Four in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the regular season awards found their owners. The most valuable player (MVP) of the past season in the EuroLeague has been Barcelona’s Nikola Mirotic.
Nikola Mirotic, who received the MVP award as a result of the votes made by the fans, media, coaches and team captains, finished the season in the first place in the productivity score ranking with 19.4, and took the second place in the scoring kingdom with an average of 16.6.
Nikola Mirotic became the second player in EuroLeague history to surpass 65-45-85 shooting percentages. He achieved hit rates of 65.6% in two-pointers, 45.5% in three-pointers and 87.5% in free throws.
Nikola Mirotic, who was also selected as the MVP of October and December, managed to become the MVP of the week three times during the season.
The award that Anadolu Efes’ Vasilije Micic received last season went to Nikola Mirotic this season, while Mike James from Monaco took the second place and Sasha Vezenkov from Olympiacos took the third place.
