Play-In matches, which will determine the last teams to participate in the Play-Offs in the league conferences in the NBA, continued. The Memphis Grizzlies, who finished the Western Conference in 9th place, took the first step towards the Play-Off by beating the 10th San Antonio Spurs 100-96.
Dillon Brooks’ contribution with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, and Jonas Valanciunas with 23 points, 23 rebounds and 1 assist led the Grizzlies to the victory.
In Spurs, 20 points each by DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay, and 10 points each by Jakob Poeltl and Dejounte Murray were not enough to win.
The Grizzlies will make their final match against the Warriors, who lost to the Lakers in order to qualify for the Play-Off. The winner of this match will be matched with the leader of the regular season in the Play-Offs, the Utah Jazz.
