Toronto Raptors, the only Canadian club in the NBA, will play their home games with 50 percent spectator capacity due to the increase in new types of coronavirus cases in the country.

According to the statement made on the NBA’s website, the application to be passed due to the Kovid-19 restrictions in the province of Ontario will come into effect as of the Raptors’ match against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday morning. In addition, fans who do not comply with the mask-wearing rule will be kicked out of the gym.

The Raptors, who won their only championship in their history in 2019, played last season’s home games in Tampa, USA, due to travel restrictions imposed by the Canadian government.

With 13 wins and 15 losses this season, the Raptors are in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
