Rookie quarterback Mc Jones passes 207 yards with one touchdown and one interception; The New England Patriots’ defense ended with four interceptions in the game, including six touchdowns 35 yards from Kyle Van Noy.
The New England Patriots closed the Atlanta Falcons 25-0 Thursday night to extend their winning streak to five straight games.
New England had four full interceptions in the game, with picks from JC Jackson, Devin McCurty and Adrian Phillips.
Falcons veteran QB Matt Ryan threw two of them, while Van Noy’s six was courtesy of Josh Rosen, and fellow spare Felipe Franks tossed one for Phillips to end the game.
While the Patriots’ (7-4) winning streak continues, the Falcons (4-6) have now failed to find the end zone in two matches in a row – lost 68-3 to the Dallas Cowboys, and now to New England – with the game on Thursday. In addition, Atlanta were closed at home for the first time since their 1988 loss to the Los Angeles Rams 33-0.

Folk scored 32 yards from the field in the first quarter to open the scoring for the Patriots, while Jones scored 10-0 to the away team, scoring a 19-meter goal against Nelson Agholor in the next series.
The Falcons had chances to return to the game, but each time they came out empty. The first time this happened in response to the Agholor touchdown when Atlanta descended to the New England 14-yard line, only Ryan was sacked at 3rd and 1st Van Noe for a 13-yard loss. Yongho Koo then connected the ball to the field for 45 yards, but a mis-formation nullified three points and the kicker missed left on his next try from 50 yards.
Then, after intercepting Jones, 13 back at the end of the third quarter – Falk fired through the second FG just before inning – the Falcons turned the ball down on the Patriots’ 16 yard line as Kadri Ollison was stalled with no profit when he went to 4th and 1st.
