Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams: they are your invincible teams. No previous contenders for last year’s big finals or even for conference championship games are in sight.
For context, the last time Arizona played 3-0 to start the season was in 2015 in the NFC Championship; in the same year, the Panthers advanced to the Super Bowl after starting with three wins; The Raiders last hit a perfect start in three weeks back in 2002, when they ended their season with, you guessed it, the Super Bowl.
It goes without saying that none of this means that these teams are guaranteed success in 2021, but it does show the importance of a strong start. The same applies to, yes, you guessed it, fantasy football …
I don’t point the finger and refuse to be the person who scolds a player for injury because of the impact it had on their Fantasy team, but my RB1 injury Thursday night made my third week difficult.
The definite Denver Broncos tight end continuing to fall short of the hype is also not perfect.
