It was the best playoff weekend in NFL history! Ridiculous entertainment.
It was the perfect incarnation of this season, which was just crazy from start to finish. And to be honest, I got up Monday morning feeling a little sad that it was all over.
The big takeaway for me from that game is that Joe Burrow was still just throwing passes despite being fired nine times—he’s lost more than any quarterback in playoff history.

He was amazing. So did their kicker, Evan McPherson, who said he was scoring the game-winning field goal and that they were on their way to the AFC Championship game before he even took the field for the final kick.

As far as Tennessee is concerned, they must have more than just Derrick Henry at some point. The defense has played its part, but is Ryan Tannehill ever going to rise above and play at the level of some of the other quarterbacks in this weekend’s games?
I don’t think he can and I think that gives the Titans some ceiling as a team.
It didn’t have to be a classic. It wasn’t a technically brilliant game at times, but it was still so addictive and compelling. It was impossible to take your eyes off him, especially when there was light snow dust covering Lambo Field in the second half. It was right, it was like playoff football.
