Anil Murthy has a date with Peter Lim in Singapore. The president of Valencia plans to fly this weekend to the majority shareholder’s country of residence to deal with the most urgent matters for the coming season. The appointment will take place a week after the publication of the audios in which the black and white executive revealed opinions and information about Meriton’s plans from a sporting, economic and institutional point of view.
It will be Peter Lim who will mark the roadmap for Anil Murthy, especially with regard to sports planning, but he should also lay the foundations for the Meriton’s next step regarding the new stadium project, in suspense at least from public institutions since the leak of the audios.
This trip will cause the meeting between Anil Murthy and Jose Bordalás, from which the planning for next season would have to start -with or without the coach from Alicante who has one more year on his contract- also postponed to next week every time the technician has one more year of contract. The truth is that, according to Valencia sources, the initial intention was to have scheduled this trip for the beginning of this week, but finally it had to be postponed.
The same sources indicate that this face-to-face meeting between the maximum shareholder and the president was planned before the audios and of the demonstration outside Mestalla during the last day of the League against Celta, although they are matters that can be part of the agenda.
