Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor and Akhisar Belediye Basket played in the Play-Offs of the Turkish Basketball League, where Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket, one of the Aegean teams, promoted to the ING Basketball Super League, will try to reach their goals from the finals.
Manisa’s two teams finished the regular season with 17 wins in 30 matches. Akhisar, which is in the 6th place in the league, matches with the 5th Mamak Municipality in the Play-Off, while Manisa BŞB, which is 9th and has its name written in the finals, will face the 2nd Samsunspor. The two teams will play their first game away on Monday, May 17, in the series, where the side with two wins will be the semi-finalists.
The rematch matches will be held on 20 May. Calvin Godfrey, who was injured from the Achilles tendon in the postponement match played against Balıkesir BŞB in Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor, will not be able to play in the Play-Off.
