Fenerbahce Safiport’s star basketball player Kayla McBride announced on her social media account that she had food poisoning before they lost to Sopron Basket in the EuroLeague Women’s final.
Addressing Fenerbahce fans with his social media account, McBride stated that he was very upset about the defeat. In addition, the US basketball player announced that he, Satou Sabally, Alina Yahupova and head coach Victor Lapena had food poisoning after the EuroLeague semi-final match against USK Prague.
McBride also underlined that their treatment continued until only hours before the start of the final match, but despite this, they reflected everything they could on the field in the match. The successful basketball player also wanted the messages sent to his teammates and himself to end in his post.
