In Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket, one of the ING Basketball Super League teams, Mayor Veli Deveciler thanked the people of Denizli who filled the stands in the match played with Fenerbahçe Beko last week. President Deveciler said, “I would like to thank everyone in the city for their support of the team. However, our main thanks are to our fans. Last week, they took their places in the stands from 7 to 70 and gave us the message that we are with them.”
Deveciler said, “If the city takes care of the team, we will reach the point we aim for,” said Deveciler. “We are one of the cities with the best supporter potential in Turkey. Everyone is talking about the wonderful ambiance in Denizli. Let’s not leave us alone, let’s go hand in hand to the goal and the good days together,” he said.

Yukatel Merkezefendi Basket will play 5 of the remaining 8 matches in the Super League in the regular season in Denizli. Green-blacks will host the last champion of THY Eurolegue, Anadolu Efes, as well as Tofaş, Türk Telekom, Büyükçekmece Basketball and Aliağa Petkimspor at Pamukkale University Sports Hall.
