ANDl Barcelona may increase the capacity of the Camp Nou. This has been approved by the Generalitat of Catalunya, which has decided that stadiums with capacities of over 10,000 spectators can cover their seats with up to 60% occupancy.
In this way, the Camp Nou will go from the limit of almost 40,000 spectators of the last matches (40%), to almost 60,000 from now on.
The first game with this new reality will be on October 17, when the Catalans host Valencia.
The icing on the cake will be the Classic, which will take place on October 24.
It must be borne in mind that 26,238 Barça subscription members requested leave of absence this year due to the exceptional situation we are experiencing. In other words, there were around 57,000 subscribers left for the rest of the season. Taking into account the new capacity figure, this means that all the subscribing members who want will be able to go to the stadium to watch their matches. It would not be necessary, therefore, to resort to the raffles.
