The horrible sporting planning of the entity left Cillessen, Jaume, Rivero and Mamardashvili in the same team. Only the last one had a filial file, but curiously he ended up becoming Bordalás’ starting goalkeeper … until he failed.
The fact is that with the errors of the Georgian, who was the sensation of the first games of the season, Cillessen regained his position in theory. And the Dutchman has gradually been gaining in confidence and despite conceding more goals than expected, he is playing good games in terms of individual performance.
This situation has led to the condemnation and almost definitive oblivion of two high-level goalkeepers who either leave the team during the winter market or are going to play for very few minutes. Jaume and Cristian Rivero, who came to play a position last season due to Cillessen’s injuries (the Valencian almost always played) They have not debuted and on many occasions they have watched the games from the box.
