ANDhe investigating judge of the RFEF has moved to Competition Committee a proposed four-match ban for Jose Luis Gaya for some statements that put the arbitration establishment on trial. The captain, who has served two games of suspension for the red card he saw against Levante, can end the season in white, and even drag a game for next season.
The statements belong to a post-match in which Gayà was harsh with the referees. The club is insisting that Valencia does not receive good treatment from the arbitration establishment and these statements are being studied.
“They do what they want”
The news, advanced by Radio MARK Valencia, has been officially confirmed by the club. “It seems that the VAR does not work in favor of Valencia. More than the VAR, what strikes me is that at the break we approached to talk to the referee and he told us that if he had awarded the penalty, the VAR would would have removed we don’t get it, has happened to us on more than one occasion and it seems that nothing happens here, it is an action that changes the game. I don’t want to make excuses but they are actions that are repeated a lot and what the referee tells us catches my attention. It is the tonic that we have this season. Valencia will go to the end
Upon learning of the sanction proposal, Valencia has issued a official statement in which he assures that he will go to the end in defense of his captain: Valencia CF will present arguments against the proposed four-match ban on our captain, José Luis Gayà, by the Instructing Judge of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The RFEF Integrity Committee opened a file on the footballer for his statements after the match against CA Osasuna on Matchday 32 of LaLiga. Valencia CF will defend its captain to the end against this unfair sanction proposal.
