Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor Women’s Basketball Team, which completed the Turkish Women’s Basketball League (TKBL) as the champion, won its cup.
Guaranteed to complete the season as the champion of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League with 3 games remaining, Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor Club Women’s Basketball Team met with Istanbul University in the last fight of the season. As a result of the negotiations between the two teams, Bursa representative left the fight in Nilüfer TOFAŞ Sports Hall, which was decided to be played in Bursa, with a victory of 112-53. Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor won 27 wins in 28 games in the league, and achieved an important success. The ‘Pearls of Bursa’, who will compete in Herbalife Nutrition Women’s Basketball Super League next season, lifted the championship cup at Nilüfer TOFAŞ Sports Hall.
At the cup ceremony held after the match, Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor Women’s Basketball Team received its cup from Hüseyin Beşok, a member of the Board of the Turkish Basketball Federation. Turkish Basketball Federation CEO Ömer Onan and Ministry of Youth and Sports Deputy General Manager of Investments and Businesses Süleyman Şahin also took part in the medal ceremony and presented their players with their medals. Female basketball players from Bursa BŞB experienced great enthusiasm at the ceremony.
