England have named a team of 15 for their three-game ODI series against New Zealand with 20-year-old Charlie Dean with no cap included; Danni Wyatt is also on the squad after being out of ODIs against India earlier in the summer.

Charlie Dean has been named to England’s ODI team to play against New Zealand

Southern Vipers player Charlie Dean has been inducted into the England women’s team for the Royal London International One-Day Series against New Zealand.

The 20-year-old has been named in a 15-person match in which Kate Cross and Lauren Winfield-Hill return after missing the Vitality IT20 series against the White Ferns, which England won 2-1.

There is also a place for Danni Wyatt after she was left out of the team for the series against India.

Head coach Lisa Keightley said: “We are looking forward to the Royal London Series. It is a great test for us, and five more important ODIs ahead of the ICC Women’s World Cup next year.

“It is a very busy schedule and we will have to work hard throughout it to make sure that the players are in the best position to overcome it, and we may have to manage the group to achieve it.”

England and New Zealand will play the five-game series from September 16-26.
