Dallas Cowboys quarterback Duck Prescott continued his impressive comeback from injury, completing 23 of 27 assists for 237 yards (and interception); Justin Herbert made his 10th pass at 300 yards, making 31 of 41 shots for 338 yards, one touch and two interceptions.
At the end of the time, Greg Zuerlein scored 56 yards from the field and gave the Dallas Cowboys their first win of the season, a 20-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert made his 10th pass from 300 yards, making 31 of 41 shots for 338 yards, the most in QB’s first two seasons. He had one pass to land but also made two interceptions.
QB Cowboys Duck Prescott impressed again, making 23 of 27 assists for 237 yards in the second game of his 2021 comeback due to injury, although he also threw an interception.
Dallas enjoyed great success on the pitch everywhere. Troy Pollard ran 109 yards for 13 carries in the third game of 100 yards of his career, while Ezekiel Elliot had 71 yards and 16 carries.
After Chargers kicker Tristan Wiscaino leveled the score with 29 yards from the field with four minutes left, Dallas went 49 yards in 11 games to nearly hit Zuerlein’s hit zone and hit the winning shot.
The chargers have held an 8-17 record in single-score games since the start of the 2019 season.

After Pollard opened the scoring with a four-yard touchdown on the first move, Herbert and Prescott exchanged interceptions before the Chargers hit the board, scoring the first of three field goals for Wiscaino.
The Cowboys took the lead with a second quick score – this time Elliott found the end zone – and finished the first quarter, but Los Angeles took the lead, throwing Herbert at Mike Williams with a 12-meter touchdown and successfully converting a two-point pass. However, they were unable to tie the half game as Vizcaino missed on a 44-yard FG attempt.
