In the quarter-final match played at Saitama Super Arena, France was ahead 39-30 in the first half against its opponent. Continuing to dominate in the second half, France won the match 67-64.
France; Japan became the fourth team to make it to the semi-finals after the USA and Serbia.
The semi-finals will be played on Friday, August 6th. The USA will face Serbia in the first match of the semi-finals. The second match of the day will be between Japan and France.
