Turgay Zeytingöz was the manager of the Ümit National Basketball Team in 2011-2017 and during his tenure, he won a European Championship and won the third place in Europe twice. Turgay Zeytingöz, who started to work at Banvit Basketball Club simultaneously in 2010, contributed to the training of many young players in Turkish basketball during his 10-year career at Banvit. Turgay Zeytingöz won the TBL championship with Bandırma Kırmızı, and the Basketball Champions League and Turkish League finals and the Turkish Cup championship in the A team.
