During this time, he was the head of the team that won three Turkish Leagues (1996-1997, 1997-1998, 1999-2000), three Presidential Cups (1996, 1997, 1998) and two Turkish Cups (1997, 1998).

Continuing to work as an assistant coach in the Galatasaray Men’s Basketball Team under the management of Erman Kunter in 2002, Memnun was the head coach of the Kosovo team Sigal Prishtina in 2003, where he was the regular season leader for two seasons, a Kosovo Cup, a Kosovo National Cup and a Kosovo Super Cup. The trophy has seen successes.

Returning to Turkey in 2005, Ekrem Memnun was appointed as the assistant coach of Efes Pilsen under the management of Oktay Mahmuti, and continued in this position for three seasons. In 2008, he became the head coach of Darüşşafaka Cooper Tires and stayed there for two seasons.

Ekrem Memnun, who started to coach Galatasaray Odeabank Women’s Basketball Team on June 13, 2012, won the championship 14 years later by beating Fenerbahçe 3-2 in the league. On April 13, 2014, she won the championship by beating arch-rival Fenerbahçe in the Euroleague Women’s final, and achieved the greatest success in women’s basketball history on a club basis.
