Kaf-Kaf, who was able to return to Turkey with a delay due to a battery failure on the private plane he went to the organization in Russia, welcomed Kaf-Kaf with flowers and torches at Adnan Menderes Airport. Green-red people got on the open-top bus specially prepared by Karşıyaka Municipality from the team bus to enter the district in the evening. Despite the complete closure and curfews imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, a group of fans who did not leave the basketball players of Karşıyaka alone, lined up and lit torches at the arrival of the team.
Karşıyaka Mayor Cemil Tugay also welcomed the convoy here and joined the tour. The fans especially embraced Coach Ufuk Sarıca, who brought Pınar Karşıyaka to the finals in Europe after 8 years. Taking the open-top bus, the convoy toured the district from Karşıyaka Shipyard to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Karşıyaka Sports Hall in Mavişehir. Fans also accompanied the green-red people by forming a convoy with their vehicles. Karşıyaka Municipality Band shared the enthusiasm with the marches it played. Citizens supported Kaf-Kaf, who toured the district with cheers, by waving and applauding from the balconies of their houses due to the restriction.
