In the FIBA 2021 Men’s Under-19 World Cup, Turkey defeated Japan 97-49 in the classification match (9-16).
Competing in the FIBA 2021 Under-19 Men’s World Cup held in Riga and Daugavpils, Latvia, the Crescent-Stars defeated Japan in the 9-16 classification match with a score of 97-49. The Under-19 Men’s National Team, which will complete the tournament with the classification matches, will face Iran on Saturday, July 10.
Crescent-Stars, Ege Tan Yıldızoğlu, Batin Tuna, Tibet Görener, Adem Bona and Furkan Haltalı started the match, played at Riga Olympic Center. Our national team finished the first half of the game ahead 46-22.
Adem Bona scored 20 points and Furkan Haltalı scored 14 points in the Under-19 Men’s National Team. In Japan, Yu Kibayashi finished the game with 8 points.
