Our A National Men’s Basketball Team, which is in Group B of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Qualifications, will host Greece this evening in its fourth match. Having lost 84-70 away to Belarus in the first match of their group, the Nationals dominated Great Britain 84-67 at home.

12 Giant Men lost to Greece by a single point 72-71 in Athens last Friday. Crescent-Stars are in the second place in Group B with 1 win and 2 losses. Our Neighbor, who won 2 wins and was defeated once, is in the first place. If we take the rematch from the Greeks tonight and beat them by at least two points, we will take the lead. The teams that take the first three places in their groups will have the right to compete in the next round.

The teams will carry the points they collected in the first group stage to the next group. Under the management of Coach Orhun Ene, the Nationals will be matched with the teams that completed Group A in the first three places, if they take the first three places in the group. The 12 teams that took the top three places in the second round groups will compete in the FIBA 2023 World Cup.

Our National Basketball Team continued its preparations for the game it will play against Greece this evening, with the training it made yesterday. In the previous day’s training, Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu, TBF Deputy Chairman Ömer Onan and TBF officials did not leave the Nationals alone.
