In the NBA play-offs, the Brooklyn Nets beat the Milwaukee Bucks 114-108 to take a 3-2 lead in the conference semifinals.
The NBA play-offs continued with one game. The Nets hosted the Bucks at Barclays Center in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series.
Kevin Durant played for the entire game in the Nets, which had problems in the play-offs due to injuries. The Nets took the field without Kyrie Irving, who was injured in Game 4 of the series. James Harden, who was injured in the first match, returned to the team.
Durant became the architect of the victory by making a “triple-double” with 49 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. The star basketball player also managed to become the Nets player who scored the most points in a play-off game. Jeff Green added 27 points and Blake Griffin added 17 points. Returning from injury, Harden had 5 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points, 12 rebounds, Khris Middleton had 25 points, 5 assists, Jrue Holiday had 19 points and 8 assists for the Bucks.
The winner of the series will face the winner of the Philadelphia 76ers-Atlanta Hawks (2-2) matchup in the Eastern Conference finals.
